This film is being created by a dedicated group of LGBTQIA+ artists, each of whom is uniquely incredible at what they do. The project’s mission is to uplift this community of trans and queer creators by employing their extraordinary talents.
In a terrifying cultural moment, our ethos is to empower trans people, not through charity or lip service, but by generating meaningful work opportunities to exercise their expertise at fair rates.
The total budget for the film is $87,750. So far, we’ve raised $10,500 in personal donations and grants, thanks to the generosity of NYSCA and our fiscal sponsor, Women Make Movies.
The demos of the album are complete, we’ve secured our equipment, and we’ve already begun filming. We’re shooting the last of it in Summer 2026 and aiming to be completed by the end of the year!
